Introduction

Established in 2001, Disability Organizations Joint Front (DOJF) is an umbrella body of organizations of Persons with Disabilities (PwD), consisting of 30 member organizations spread across the country, representing all categories of disabilities namely physical, hearing, visual and intellectual disabilities. The DOJF is registered as a Disabled People’s Organization (DPO) at the National Secretariat for Persons with Disabilities, which functions under the Ministry of Social Empowerment and Welfare. DOJF is mandated and aims to work jointly as a group advocating for the protection and promotion of the rights of PwDs ensuring them a barrier-free, independent life with equity & dignity. The DOJF is a DPO, accredited with special consultative status at the Economic & Social Council of the United Nations.

How to Join As a volunteer

The Disability Organizations Joint Front (DOJF) has started recruiting new member organizations with the aim of empowering persons with disabilities to provide a wider service to the community with disabilities.
